As a witch, working weather magick is not exactly out of the range of possibility - in fact, it's absolutely within that range. We know of Shamanic "Rain Dances" and our history is replete with magickally created droughts, storms and witches and conjurers who worked to bring good weather for the crops, or to destroy the crops of an enemy.

For me, bad weather tends to happen when I'm sincerely depressed. I'll never forget the lightning storm a few years ago - we were blacked out for a day or so, and nearly lost all of our computer data. At some point in the middle of it all, my roommate (another witch) came to me and screamed at me to "stop it!!!"

And it's happened more than once:

Some years ago I came home from class to the beginnings of a huge storm. I warded the houseboat I was living on at the time, and a few minutes later, as I was unplugging the computer so that it wouldn't get fried in event of an electric outage, the boat was pitched up about 45 degrees and I was thrown against the staircase rail.

The tornado ripped through the woods, attacked a nearby fish camp (a houseboat much larger than mine was turned completely upside down, and the owner drowned) and then blasted through the dock house at the marina where I lived.

Later, looking at a map of the tornado's path, I realized that the storm had made a straight line for my houseboat and then "somehow" jogged around it. Had it continued on it's straight path, it would have not only taken out my boat, but also several occupied cabins beyond that. As it happened, there was no loss of life, or even a home, on the marina where I lived. I think the loss of an (unoccupied) boathouse was worth it.

All hubris aside, do I really believe I caused the above mentioned storm? Or at least made it worse? Umm . . . well . . . there's a good chance of it. Do I think I turned that tornado aside? Umm . . . definitely.

So I work hard to NOT do weather magick. I try to affirm that my moods won't affect the weather.

Why shouldn't I play with weather magick? Because I'm not "big" enough to understand the whole system. Chaos theory teaches us that if a butterfly flaps its wings in China, it may storm in Chicago. Systems are huge things - one tiny change here can create a much larger situation somewhere else.

Here in Florida, with the 26th named storm of the year bearing down upon us, it's tempting to mess with weather magick. But where do I send Wilma? Do I turn her path westwards and chance the fact that New Orleans won't be wiped out for the third time this year?

Unless there's a chance that I can turn a storm out to sea, where it will harm no one, I don't dare create more destruction than will naturally happen. I can, however, do what I can to ward my own areas, in hopes that those within my smaller sphere of influence will not be harmed.

So why am I ranting about this? Certainly not because I want you to think I am "oh so powerful" that I can control the weather. Honestly, I know what happened, and I don't really care if you disbelieve me. I have nothing to prove or disprove, and no great desire to be seen as some high-muck-a-muck.

I make these points instead to point out that the weather is certainly able to be affected by magick. And worse, can be affected by what is termed as "scalar technology".

Durning the recent hideously (purposefully?) ineffective response to Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans, it was repeated many times by the media, that "no one is suggesting that the government caused the hurricane."

No one? Actually, there are suggestions of exactly that.

I don't ask you to believe me. After all, I'm just some wacky witch-chick who thinks I can magick the weather. Instead, I ask you to look into it, and investigate foryourself.

Here are a few URLs:

Weather Wars

Soviet Weather from the Tom Bearden Website - A fascinating and scholarly look at scalar technology (A bit of a headache to watch unless you have good grasp of physics (or a physicist to watch it with) but which makes amazing sense when correllated with magick). It details the specifics of exactly how weather can be manipulated.

Former Naval Physicist: Government Can Control Hurricanes

Now I don't pretend that I'm the voice of the God/dess. Nor do I pretend that I'm better or more knowledgeable than anyone in our government. I do, however, firmly state that any actions I take are done "for the highest good of all".

Juxtapose that with the intentions of those in government - 1,994 of our own soldiers killed to date (and that is only the "official count" of those who died in battle, and doesn't include those who died afterwards or those who were wounded - often permanent disabilities). Who gains when we go to war? As Mr. Rogers (from Mr. Rogers Neighborhood - yes, I'm that old) would say, "can you say 'Haliburton'?" "Can you say Carlyle Group?"

And who got no-bid contracts in the aftermath of Katrina? Subsidiaries of - guess who? - starts with an "H".

Consider that we now have the Supreme Court upholding the use of Eminent Domain in cases where private companies/the local government are now allowed to take away YOUR land if they can show that they can turn it into something which makes more tax revenue for the locality - and don't even have to pay you just compensation for it.

Shocking New Developments In Supreme Court vs. Homeowners Case

In light of this, consider the land belonging to the poor of New Orleans. Can we really imagine that they will be able to return to their homes? In fact, since the insurance industry and Michael Chertoff of Homeland Security, have declared the NOLA floods, not one disaster, but two - a hurricane and a flood, many of the victims of Katrina will not even be able to receive the insurance coverage that they paid for. And thus will not be able to afford to rebuild. And in cometh the state, using Eminent Domain to take away the land from these poor bastards, so that they can create casinos, upscale housing, hotels and other tourist traps. Don't bother arguing with me, just watch the news over the next few months.

When it's not enough for "terrorists" to bomb our buildings, look to the hurricanes and the Bird Flu.

I don't mess with the weather. I don't think I know All of the Face of the God/dess. But it's possible that the Globalists and the government are trying to do just that.

Ward your homes, my friends. Ward your beloveds.

Pray that the tornado of government conspiracy and greed jogs around you and causes harm to none.
