People often ask about the symbolic meanings of the charms used in my jewelry work, and how that symbolism is used in magick. These pages will attempt to answer those questions. VikingsMagick Symbols |

Striking terror into the hearts of those they raided, the Vikings are perhaps misunderstood, as their raiding was likely not more prevalent than that of other countries or cultures in times past. Perhaps it was the swiftness with which they struck, and the fact that they carried their hostages and treasures away to far lands, rather than to a nearby place from which they could be more easily counter-raided. The word Viking possibly comes from the Old Norse vikja meaning movement, and especially swift movement. The Norse were responsible for innovations in ship building, expanding trade and exploration, reaching the New World well before Columbus. Think you've got what it takes to be a viking warrior?
